ROUGH SCIENCE
Rough Science are a six piece with a raw refreshing commercial sound, ranging from indie rock to ska. R.S are proudly based in Camden town, where they have played several venues, Dingwalls dublin castle & proud gallery, to name a few.Their music appeals to all, from teenagers to adults, as seen at their high energy shows. At the moment R.S are working hard in the studio on their debut album. writing about life, love and off the wall situations. R.S are out of the ordinary compared to the bands out now, for one “they don’t and won’t wear skinny jeans”. They have a unique and vibrant global appeal on and off stage. They are all from different corners of the world, each individual member brings something special to the band which makes up, “ROUGH SCIENCE!”.

LIPSTICK MELODIES
“I don’t like Simon Cowell!” proclaims Alexi Christou, bass player to London bred 4-piece country-blues rock group Lipstick Melodies, airing his grievances about the state of current music. “He’s one of these people who perpetuates the view of music as this commodity that can be so easily sold to people because it’s popular. It’s like topshop for the music world is what it is. I don’t think that’s what music should be about – that’s the problem with music these days. As people in this country get more and more generalized, everyone is becoming this generic mass of lameness that is building force.”

“The problem is,” lead singer/songwriter and guitarist Alan Wass continues, “there’s no actual rock ‘n’ roll scene anymore. Since the end of Top of the Pops, and really, since the Brit Pop era finished, there’s been no revamp. In the Fifties you had Teddy boys, then in the 60s there was the Mod scene, then you had glam and then you had punk etc…but now, as far as I can see, music has no cult or mass following in England. It’s just shit.”

THE GUILTY ONES

Micky P's "One To Watch Out For" BRILLIANT!
"WITNESS!! The Guilty Ones!!!!! Liv, Jo, Oded and Manuel revivify the best of 60’s and 70’s and modern psychedelic pop rock riddims, producing a unique and adventurous musical melange with a sound all of its own. Liv's voice will sweep through your soul; mellisonant, mellifluous; infused with amatory yearning; you’d follow her words down the darkest backstreet. They call, they promise, they deliver. The Guilty Ones are the musical superlative. What a great find!"

- NY Good Times Magazine

Their first single called "All There Is", produced by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Telegraphs) has been available for sale and download since April 2010, followed by a second single "Dance With You" produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, The Kooks), which will come out on July 26th, and the album "Guilty As..." launch...
