The Cobden 'Clubs'

Members can enjoy a varied program of events as well activities outside the Club such as cricket in the summer and football in the winter.

Poker Club

Wednesdays - 8.30pm
The Poker Club is a great night out/in, and a great way of meeting other Cobden members. The club has proved very popular so we have decided to run it every Wednesday. We provide the chips, cards and four tables of eight. Shaun Rosse has kindly taken over the running of the club and can provide you with any information your require, shaunrosse@hotmail.com The nights are open to members and their guests and tables are set up to accommodate beginners and hi-rollers. Members can also pre-book tables anytime. Highly recommended.

Waffle Club

is the Cobden’s monthly supper club co-hosted by writer in-residence Dave Matthews and culture vulture Jess Tyrell.

Set in our sumptuous private dining room, this “Club with in a club” is dedicated to the fine art of dinner party conversation, over cocktails, dinner and wine.

Members and their guests can put the world to lights in an intellectually challenging but unpretentious environment and meet other people with something to say.
